UF Announces Kevin Sowers as Associate Vice President for Business Affairs

I am excited to announce that Kevin Sowers has been named Associate Vice President for Business Affairs, effective June 23.

Sowers is joining the University of Florida from the University of Central Florida, where he served as Assistant Vice President of Business Operations.

At UCF, he oversaw several auxiliary operational units for budget administration and third-party contract management. His expertise will help our division review and guide revenue and operations strategies, develop and implement policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement across our operations.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Marketing and Public Relations from Radford University.
