Search launched for College of Vet Med Dean

I am pleased to announce the formation of a search committee to assist in a national search for the next dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Scott Angle, senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources at UF/IFAS, will chair the committee, with Melisssa Curry, vice president for Human Resources and UF HR Strategic Talent Group providing executive search support.

Members are Ashley Allen-Durrance, Thomas George, Jon Kim, Marta Lista, Chris Marytniuck, Andrea Miller, Adesola Odunayo, Janet Robishaw, Marta Romano, Chris Sanchez, Alexandra Torregrosa, Charles Vite, Carrisa Wickens and Liang Zhou.

The committee expects to identify and recommend finalists by May of this year. I thank Dr. Angle and the committee members for their time and efforts dedicated to this important leadership search.
