Searches launched for CLAS and Libraries deans

Joe Glover, Interim Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs

I am pleased to share that search advisory committees have been established to lead national searches for the deans of the UF College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and UF Libraries.

Kati Migliaccio, dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, will chair the CLAS dean search committee, which will be assisted by Parker Executive Search.

Additional committee members are William Barbazuk, Ronald Castellano, Michael Daniels, Amy Galloway, Julia Graber, Chris Hass, Kennith Kidd, Uma Sethuram, Benjamin Smith, Jane Southworth and Joseph Spillane.

Glenn Good, dean of the UF College of Education, will lead the search committee for the dean of UF Libraries, with support provided by UF Human Resources Talent Acquisition & Onboarding.

The other search committee members are Elizabeth Evans, Aaron Hoover, Valrie Minson, Pat Reakes, Jason von Meding, and Donovan Welch.

I thank Dean Migliaccio, Dean Good and the search committee members for their time and efforts dedicated to these important searches.
