Search launched for Florida Museum of Natural History director

I am pleased to share that a search advisory committee has been formed for the next director of the Florida Museum of Natural History.

Rob Gilbert, dean for research and executive director for academic affairs at UF/IFAS, will chair the committee, assisted by Isaacson, Miller.

The other committee members are Jaret Daniels, Nicole Fuller, Rob Guralnick, Linda McGurn, Malu Ore-Rengifo, Pam Soltis and Neill Wallis.

Faculty members, curators or staff are encouraged to nominate qualified candidates. Applications and self-nominations are also welcome. Please submit nominations by November 30 via this link.

The committee expects to name finalists by January 2027 with on-campus interviews to be held in February.
