Training on New Processes for Faculty, A&P and USPS Assignments and Positions

The university is putting in place new systems and processes. These will give departments, units and colleges the ability to do distributions for salaried appointments and to do transfers between salaried positions. In addition, detailed information on expenditures and use of rate on salaried positions will be available on the World Wide Web. Training sessions will be given to show you and your staff how these systems are to be used and to explain access requirements. Since we will be switching to the new processes with the pay period that begins February 21, 1997, I would encourage you to have the appropriate individual(s) in your area attend one of these sessions.
