1997 Summer Appointments for Graduate Assistants and Pre-doctoral Fellowships

The Letter of Appointment File for Terms A, B and C is available for input of summer contracts. All Letters of Appointment for Terms A and C must be input by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 1997 at which time we will close the file to process tuition payments. Graduate assistants may check tuition payment amounts for Terms A and C beginning at 8:30 AM on Friday, May 16, by accessing computers set up outside S-113 Criser Hall. All fees for Terms A and C are due by Friday, May 23.

The Letter of Appointment file will be available for input again on June 10, 1997 for Term B contracts only. All Term B Letters of Appointment must be input by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1. Tuition payment balances for Term B should be available in Criser Hall beginning at 8:30 AM on Thursday, July 3. All fees for Term B are due by Friday, July 11.

In order to be eligible for a tuition payment, all graduate assistants and pre-doctoral fellows must be appointed for the following dates:

Term A - 05/09/97 - 06/24/97
Term B - 06/25/97 - 08/07/97
Term C - 05/09/97 - 08/07/97

Fellowships must pay at least $3,150 for Term C or $1,575 for Term A or Term B, in order to qualify for a tuition payment. Graduate assistants appointed .25 – .74 FTE must be registered for 3 hours Term A, 3 hours Term B or 6 hours Term C to qualify for employment and a tuition payment. Graduate assistants appointed .75 – .99 FTE must be registered for 2 hours Term A, 2 hours Term B or 4 hours Term C to qualify for employment and a tuition payment. Graduate assistants appointed 1.00 FTE must be registered for 2 hours Term A, 2 hours Term B or 2 hours Term C to qualify for employment and a tuition payment.
