Interim Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources

I am delighted to announce that on the recommendation of Vice President Jim Davidson, I have asked Dr. Joe Joyce, to serve as the Interim Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources. Dr. Joyce has agreed to serve beginning February 1, 1998, until such time as our search process concludes and the permanent appointment becomes effective.

IFAS is fortunate to have had such outstanding leadership from Vice President Davidson, and all of us can take great satisfaction in knowing that we will be able to continue on course during this interim period.

All of us will provide Joe Joyce with our support and assistance during this interim period and we look forward to continued progress in the many critical areas of interest to the faculty, staff, students, and constituents of IFAS throughout this state.
