This Friday, April 30th, the University will host a Convocation on the north lawn of J. Wayne Reitz Union to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2004. All faculty are invited and I hope you will take the opportunity to attend. The convocation is an occasion to recognize the accomplishments of our graduating class and our faculty. The program will start at 7 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m. Senator John McCain will deliver the keynote address: “Why Courage Matters.” The program also includes performances by UF’s School of Music students and faculty, a digital media presentation produced by the University’s Digital Worlds Institute, and a fireworks display. A complimentary public reception immediately follows in the Union Grand Ballroom. Please join us.
