Office Supply Contract

The University of Florida Purchasing department is pleased to announce that Invitation to Negotiate ITN 07BM-124 for Office Related Products has been completed. This award creates a unique partnership between Mister Paper, a local vendor that has been providing superior service to the University for more than 30 years and Office Depot a premier national office supply company which has been providing excellent service to the University for 10 years through our local account representative Hugh Davis. This partnership allows the University to continue to receive the excellent service Mister Paper has always provided along with outstanding pricing from Office Depot. Under this agreement, Mister Paper will provide all ordering, delivery and customer service while benefiting from the purchasing power of Office Depot.

This contract, which represents an average 16% savings over the University’s current office supply contracts, includes a core list of 250 items that are most frequently purchased by university departments that could provide even greater savings at the individual unit level.

Departments with existing Mister Paper or Office Depot accounts will need to establish a new account with Mister Paper. It is anticipated that within the next two weeks a form for facilitating this account set up will be available on the Purchasing web site, http://www.purchasing.ufl.edu/ . You will be notified when this form is available via the PCard and UFACC list servs and flyers inserted into current deliveries from Mister Paper and Office Depot.

In order to make this new contract pricing available to campus, it will take Mister Paper and Office Depot approximately six weeks to implement a new website for ordering. Once this new web site is launched online training will be available.
