Temporary Help Services

The University of Florida Purchasing Department is pleased to announce that the Invitation to Negotiate, ITN07HK-187 for Temporary Help Services has been awarded to Career Center, Inc. d/b/a TempForce of Gainesville. This new contract is part of Purchasing Service’s strategic sourcing initiative and became effective September 20, 2007.

TempForce is the University’s prime provider for a comprehensive range of temporary service categories including: Accounting and Bookkeeping, Administrative, General Office and Clerical, Retail Sales, Customer Service and Cash Handling, Information Technology and Computer Support, Industrial and Labor and a Project Specific category to accommodate other needs. In addition, there are several skill levels within each class.

The new contract rates are effective immediately on all newly created purchase orders. Departments that currently have TempForce temporary employees should refer to http://purchasing.ufl.edu/main_contracts-temp.asp for the 60 day transition scenario that best applies to that department and contact the vendor for proper pricing.
