Win Phillips, Task Force Chair
Executive Chief of Staff
Office of the President

The University Task Force on Goal-Setting was asked by President Kent Fuchs in April to identify a set of aspirational goals to guide the university over the next 5-10 years. The goal-setting process is a critical step in developing the university’s strategic direction for years to come.

The Task Force has received and reviewed input from university stakeholders (students, faculty, administration and university units) and recommended a set of goals for advancing the excellence of faculty, research, educational delivery, academic experience, infrastructure, operational support, alumni success and outreach.

We are at the phase in the process of soliciting feedback and input from the broader community. The draft goals are posted online on the Office of the President’s website until August 7, 2015. Please take a moment to review them and send comments to goal-setting@ufl.edu.

The Task Force will begin the next step of drafting objectives and metrics for these goals.

We look forward to your input.

Thank you.
