New Faculty Orientation August 17-18, 2016

To welcome new faculty to the University of Florida and provide information about available resources and services, the Office of Human Resource Services will be hosting this year’s New Faculty Orientation on Wednesday, August 17, and Thursday, August 18, at Emerson Alumni Hall.

We have been communicating with college designees to collect a list of new faculty. All New Faculty Orientation appointee information forms should be submitted electronically to Kara Sue Cobb at karasue@ufl.edu by Wednesday, July 20, if they have not already been submitted. For the purpose of the Fall 2016 New Faculty Orientation, “new appointees” are considered to be those individuals new to the university this year and/or appointed after the last New Faculty Orientation held August 20, 2015. If additional new hires are identified after the July 20 deadline, please contact Kara Sue as soon as possible so that they may be invited to the orientation.

Formal registration information will be sent to the new faculty members based upon submitted forms. Your college/departmental responses are important to the success of our program and very much appreciated.
