Final Exams and Reading Days
Joseph Glover, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
As students return from Spring Break and classes resume, please be reminded that, consonant with the UF Academic Affairs Last Week of Class Examination and Assignment Policy (6C1-7.055, http://regulations.ufl.edu/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/7055.pdf), no examinations or term papers should be assigned during the last three days of classes (April 23-25) or on reading days (April 26-27). No classes or exams should be held on reading days. Students are encouraged to use these days for study and review.
Comprehensive final examinations are not to be changed from their scheduled dates and times and may not be given except on the scheduled final exam days. This rule remains in place even if an exam date change is support by the students. Please be mindful that our students have several examinations and changing your examination can affect their entire schedule. Any request to change the final exam schedule must be made to the University Curriculum Committee via the Office of Academic Affairs.
I wish you the best in successfully completing your classes this semester. Thank you for complying with our regulations and, in so doing, supporting our students.
