Director of Freshman and International Admissions named

Zina Evans, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Associate Provost

The Division of Enrollment Management is pleased to announce that Charles Murphy has been selected as the new Director of Freshman and International Admissions. Charles has 13 years of progressively responsible experience as an admissions professional at the University of Illinois and has served as an academic learning coordinator for the Department of Athletics at the University of Michigan. He has experience overseeing recruitment and outreach efforts at a major AAU institution and understands the landscape for recruiting and admitting highly talented students to a top-tier institution.

Mr. Murphy joins the team September 10, 2018. He will succeed Chandra Mitchell, who served as Interim Director and retired recently from the University of Florida. He will join ranks with Rick Bryant as co-directors of the UF Admissions office.
