Florida Minimum Wage Increase Effective January 1, 2019

In January, the state minimum wage will increase 21 cents from $8.25 to 8.46 per hour. UF Human Resources will identify employees, including OPS, STAS, and FWSP, currently earning an hourly rate less than $8.46 per hour.

The University’s minimum hourly wage for TEAMS and USPS employees will remain $13.00.

UF Human Resources will implement the salary increases in early January. No action is required from departments or colleges. The raises will be reflected in employee paychecks on Friday, January 18.
