UF selects new assistant vice president for student engagement in the Division of Student Affairs

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nancy Chrystal-Green as the assistant vice president for student engagement, effective January 2, 2019.
Since 2008, Nancy has served as senior director for Student Activities and Involvement. She’s had a variety of responsibilities during her tenure that included the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Affairs, the David and Wanda Brown Center for Leadership and Service, Student Organizations and Campus Events, advising Student Government leaders, the Office of Risk Management Services, the J. Wayne Reitz Union Facility Operations, and Reitz Union Programs.
She brings more than 20 years of experience within student life and recreation to this new position. She is a nationally recognized leader in student activities and crisis management, presenting at conferences globally. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Education.
She holds a doctorate in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia, a Master of Arts in Recreation Administration from Georgia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.
