Director, Campus Experience

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Assistant Provost Cheryl Gater as Director of Campus Experience effective January 1, 2020.  Dr. Gater will report to the Provost and continue her role in Academic Affairs.  With over 20 years of experience in the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs, Dr. Gater brings expertise in campus-wide initiatives to this new role.  She previously served as Director of Postdoctoral Affairs and prior to that was integral in the oversight of the university’s successful reaffirmation of accreditation in 2014.  Dr. Gater’s leadership will benefit the university’s efforts in enhancing the campus experience through cross-campus coordination.  

Dr. Gater received her Doctor of Business Administration from Wilmington University and her Master of Arts in International Business and her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
