Appointment of Dr. Dan Wesson as Interim Director of the UF Center for Smell and Taste

David Norton, Vice President for Research

UF Research is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dan Wesson as the Interim Director of the UF Center for Smell and Taste (UFCST).  This university-wide center coordinates and promotes basic and applied research and education in the chemical senses across traditional academic boundaries. The UFCST applies this broad knowledge base to create a unique opportunity to advance discovery, application, and education in the chemical senses that can serve the state, the Southeast, and the nation.  Dr. Wesson, who is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in the College of Medicine, takes over the leadership of UFCST from Dr. Steven Munger who had led this Center since 2016.  Please join me in thanking Dr. Dan Wesson for his willing to serve in this capacity.
