Ordering Regalia

Regalia orders will be accepted through November 1 via this link. Payment is required when placing an order.

Formal academic regalia is required for all faculty members participating in the ceremonies as platform party members or as an escort/hooding faculty member for doctoral candidates.

Faculty Serving as Escorts and/or Hooders

Candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, and Doctor of Plant Medicine degrees will invite a faculty member to serve as their escort and hooder.

Candidates for Doctor of Audiology, Doctor of Business Administration, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Musical Arts, Doctor of Athletic Training, PharmD, and all Law degrees will be hooded by designated faculty members from their respective programs.

Faculty designated as escorts/hooders will receive an email from the Director of Commencement with details about responsibilities, assembly times, and hooding instructions approximately one month prior to commencement. Please ensure that if you have a doctoral candidate graduating this semester, you order your regalia on or before the November 1 deadline, which aligns with the GIMS deadline.

Marshal Robes

Faculty members serving as marshals at the university-wide ceremonies do NOT need to order academic regalia; a marshal robe will be provided free of charge for use during the ceremonies. If you are an escort and would also like to serve as a marshal, please contact your college’s commencement coordinator to volunteer.
