Appointment of Interim Dean of the College of Architecture

This is to inform you that Dean Wayne Drummond has decided to return to the faculty after nine years of service as Dean of Architecture effective May 6, 1999. We look forward to his continued contributions to the success of the College of Architecture in his faculty role and express our appreciation for his work as Dean and for his long service to the University of Florida.

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Jay Stein has agreed to serve as Interim Dean while we conduct a national search for a dean. We will appoint a search committee as soon as possible, and conduct the search during the next academic year with the hope of appointing a new dean by the beginning of the Fall semester, 2000.
