Information Technology Security Awareness Day

Elizabeth D. Capaldi, Provost

The Office of the Provost is sponsoring the Information Technology Security Awareness (ITSA) Day beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 1999 in the J. Wayne Reitz Union Auditorium. The day-long program will feature local and national speakers who will share a variety of practical guidelines that can help improve the security of your information resources. We hope that each department, center and college office will send its network administrators and other technical personnel to this event. The open systems philosophy of university networks makes them particularly vulnerable. ITSA day speakers will address critical issues surrounding the protection of your systems and data.

Please encourage your personnel to attend. For more information, visit the ITSA web site at http://www.cio.ufl.edu/~itsa/
