Yulee Humanities Seminar – INAUGURAL LECTURE

David R. Colburn, Interim Provost

Dean Willard Harrison

“The Many Cultures of Scholarship in the Sciences and Humanities”

Monday 7 February 4:00 P.M.
Keene Faculty Center

With Dean Harrison’s lecture CLAS inaugurates what we hope will be a permanent tradition at UF. The Yulee Humanities Seminar will explore current issues of interest to the entire university community.

This term the seminar presents five lectures on the general theme, “The Two Cultures Revisited.” The lectures are open to the public and university faculty and graduate students are urged to attend. The one-hour graduate course associated with the lecture series is directed this semester by Professor Robert D’Amico, Chairman of the Department of Philosophy.
