I am pleased to announce that on November 30, 1995, Avis Rent a Car opened a new branch office at the Radisson Hotel in Gainesville for the convenience of University travelers. The following information is in reference to this office:

To best serve the University of Florida travelers, reservations should be made by calling the Avis Worldwide Reservation Center at (800) 331-1212 or your travel agent. To ensure that State of Florida contract rates and benefits are received, travelers should request AWD# (rate code): A113400 when making vehicle reservations.

In addition to this new location at the Radisson Hotel, Avis is open Mon. – Fri. 7:00am – 11:00pm and Sat.and Sun. 8:00 am – 11:00pm at the Gainesville Regional Airport.
