UF Software Copyright Policy Home Page Updated

David R. Colburn, Interim Provost

As of April 18, 2000, the University of Florida has updated its copyright information web page. While no changes have been made to previous laws, new information has been added relating to multimedia, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and music on the Internet.

You can view these additions by going to the UF Software Copyright Policy Home Page at url:

http://www.ifas.ufl.edu/WWW/PIRATE/INDEX.HTML

and clicking the “Update” link or by going to the UF home page (www.ufl.edu) and searching for the term “copyright.”

If you have any questions about software copyright issues at the University of Florida, please contact NERDC Associate Director, Marie Dence, at mdence@ufl.edu or (352) 392-2061.
