Child Abuse and Summer Camp Updates from UF Youth Compliance

Sophia Andrews, Assistant Director Youth Compliance

As of April 4, new training is required annually for Administrators as defined by BOG 3.002 and all faculty, staff, students and volunteers who will engage with minors on behalf of the UF enterprise: Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Training. This was sent out on April 1 to Administrators in the Annual Child Abuse Reporting Notice.

For questions, submit inquiries via the Youth Compliance Contact Form.

UF Youth Compliance is committed to providing an enriching and safe environment for all minors interacting with our institution. Please review our Special Edition Gazette: Youth Compliance for details on child abuse reporting requirements and important summer camp updates.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During this time, blue pinwheels are displayed around communities to show support for child safety. Check out UF’s pinwheels at participating UF Health locations.
