Custodial Review Committee Announced

A committee comprised of Physical Plant workers involved in shift changes and representatives from the UF Faculty Senate and Administrative Affairs will be appointed by the Provost on August 21, 2000 to provide on-going oversight of the shift changes. The committee will also review the impact of the shift changes on the operational effectiveness and on the health, safety, and well being of the Physical Plant workers.

The committee’s duties will include surveying custodial staff and customers to monitor potential problems and recommend solutions. The committee will meet on a regularly scheduled basis and will report to the Provost and Vice President for Administrative Affairs.
