Chad Tindol named Senior Vice President for Administration
Stuart R. Bell, President
Dear UF Community,
I am pleased to announce that Chad Tindol will join the University of Florida in early August as Senior Vice President for Administration.
This new role is intended to strengthen our ability to advance key priorities, enhance collaboration across our leadership team and help position UF for continued success. The Senior Vice President for Administration will report directly to the president. Chad will work collaboratively with many cabinet members to help advance the initiatives of the Office of the President and support the important work already underway across the university.
Chad brings extensive experience in strategic planning, institutional governance, enterprise risk management, and executive leadership, and I am confident he will be a valuable addition to our leadership team.
Prior to his current role as Senior Vice President for Partnerships and Strategy at the University of Alabama, Chad served seven years as Chief Administrative Officer at UA. From 2012 to 2017, he worked for the University of Alabama System, finishing his time there as Special Assistant to the Chancellor. He also worked for the System from 2006 to 2012 as Counsel, and from 2011 to 2012 as Associate Dean for Academic Services and Senior Lecturer at the University of Alabama Law School.
Chad holds a Doctor of Law degree from Yale Law School and a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Alabama.
Please join me in welcoming Chad to the University of Florida.
