Report of the Information Technology Review Committee

This memorandum is to announce the final report of the Information Technology Review Committee. I appointed this committee one year ago and asked the members to conduct a thorough review of IT at the University of Florida and to provide the administration and faculty with a blueprint for the future. Both President Young and I have reviewed the report, and we both extend our great appreciation and thanks to the committee members for the thoroughness of this report. While UF has done well with many aspects of IT, the major findings and recommendations indicate a need for structural and policy changes to prepare us for the future.
