University of Florida Research Foundation (UFRF) Updated Forms
Winfred M. Phillips, Vice President
Effective July 10, 2001, all UFRF Principal Investigators (PI) are asked to use the new UFRF Updated Forms that can be found on the UFRF web site at http://rgp.ufl.edu/ufrf. The forms are now interactive and can be accessed, completed and printed directly from the web site.
In addition, there are new procedures for the UFRF Direct Disbursement (D-1) form and changes in the procedure for notifying PI’s when research funds come directly from the sponsor to UFRF:
The Direct Disbursement form will require only the PI’s signature if the purchase is $10,000 or less. If the purchase is greater than $10,000 the PI and one administrator (Chair, Dean or Director) will be required to sign the form.
For research funds that come directly from the sponsor to UFRF, a Notice of Deposit (NOD) will be sent by UFRF to the PI. The NOD will replace the old procedure of signing and returning a deposit form to UFRF. If funds come to the PI directly from the sponsor, a UFRF Deposit Request (DEP-1) form will need to be completed by the PI and sent along with the check to UFRF.
Please contact UFRF staff at 392-5221 if you have any questions about the new forms and procedures.
