Steam Rate Correction

Please note that the rate for purchase of steam on campus was incorrectly stated in my DDD memo dated 8/17/2001. This rate is contractually driven by a US Department of Energy natural gas cost index. The final actual index on which our steam rate is based exceeded that estimated at the time of publication. The actual steam rate is $ 5.08 / KLb which reflects a 41.5% increase over FY 2000/2001.
