University Scholars Symposium and Reception

David R. Colburn, Provost

The 2001-2002 University Scholars Program at the University of Florida has provided undergraduate students with the opportunity to work closely with UF faculty while pursuing fundamental research, exploring scholarly inquiry, and developing new knowledge.

You are cordially invited to attend the University Scholars reception, which will be held on Friday, April 12, 2002 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Harn Museum of Art. A 30-minute program announcing the four winners of the best papers competition through the Dial Center for Written and Oral Communication in the University Scholars Program, as well as recognizing all scholars in attendance, will begin at 6:30 p.m.

In addition, the Third Annual USP Symposium will showcase the individual research projects on Saturday, April 13, 2002 in a culminating event. The Symposium will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Anderson Hall, with presentations of research in 15-minute time slots. Please consider attending to support your students.
