Delegation Concerning Software License Agreements

I am authorized to sign certain contractual agreements on behalf of the University of Florida pursuant to state law and delegation from the Board of Trustees. In various instances that authorization has been delegated to other University officials. I hereby delegate to all Deans, Directors and Chairpersons authorization to execute “shrink-wrap”, also known as “blister-pak”, software license agreements for personal microcomputer software on behalf of the University as long as the cost of the software does not exceed $1,000.00.

This delegation is effective immediately and supersedes all previous delegations of this authority for the described purposes.
