Ken Gerhardt Appointed Interim Dean of the Graduate School

I have named Dr. Ken Gerhardt interim dean of the Graduate School, effective Feb. 1. He brings valuable assets to this position, including extensive academic and administrative experience.

Dr. Gerhardt has been associate dean of the Graduate School since 1999. He is a professor of audiology in UF’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He has also served as graduate coordinator and chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He is currently a member of the executive board for the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools.

The interim dean of the Graduate School reports to the vice president for research.
