Appointment of Interim Director of Admissions

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Patrick C. Herring, Associate Director of Admissions at UF, has agreed to serve as Interim Director of Admissions. Pat will serve in this position for the next six months, during which time a new search will be launched for the permanent position.

Pat Herring formerly served as Admissions Director at the University of Kentucky before returning to UF, where he began his career in admissions. At Kentucky, Pat supervised an office of 27 professional staff and 4 support staff. At Kentucky, he modernized the office and its admissions system.

Pat replaces Bill Kolb, UF’s longstanding Admissions Director and one of the major figures in the admissions field regionally and nationally.
