Academic Appointments

Given the challenges of the past six months, it seems premature to ask individual units to assume responsibility for entry of graduate assistant and faculty appointments into the university computer system. Consequently, the Office of Academic Personnel will continue to process centrally all academic appointments for E&G units through June 30, 2005.

During the Spring 2005 semester, we will assess the advantages and disadvantages of centralized appointment processing and decide future policy. Your input into this decision will be appreciated as the Spring semester unfolds.

Janet Malphurs will issue new deadlines for academic appointments for Spring semester by December 1.
