Kyle J. Cavanaugh, Vice President for Human Resource Services

This year the July 4th holiday falls on a Tuesday. In anticipation, many staff and faculty will plan to take vacation leave on Monday, July 3. It is recommended that each department consider operating with a reduced staffing schedule for that day. The decision to operate at a reduced level will remain with each operational unit.

The university will officially be open on Monday, July 3. Staff and faculty who would like to take the day off need to request approval from their supervisor and utilize existing accrued vacation leave.

If you have any questions, please call Central Leave Administration at 392-5732.
