Change in Facilities and Administrative Rates (Indirect Cost)

I am pleased to announce that we have received final approval from the federal Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for our new Indirect Cost rates. These new rates have been negotiated over the past several months with the DHHS to apply to our sponsored programs. The rates have been negotiated through fiscal year ending June 30, 2010. All projects with beginning dates on or after July 1, 2006 will be subject to the new rates. Please visit http://fa.ufl.edu/cg/ and select Facilities and Administrative Indirect Cost Rates for detailed information on the various rate changes. Continuing projects will be subject to the rates in effect when the project was awarded.
