Dear Friends and Colleagues,

You are invited to attend the “2006 Faculty IT Showcase & Symposium: Educating the Net Generation.” This event which is being sponsored by the Office of Academic Technology will take place on Tuesday, November 7, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Reitz Union.

Dr. Janie Fouke, Provost and Senior Vice President, will introduce the proceedings. This will be followed by the keynote address given by Dr. Susan Zvacek, University of Kansas, co-author of the popular textbook, “Teaching and Learning at a Distance.”

This IT Showcase provides an opportunity for faculty, UF Centers and Offices, and leading commercial vendors to share innovative IT solutions for teaching, research and outreach.
