Save The Planet – And The Postage – This Holiday Season!

Every year, there are 2.65 billion holiday cards sold in the United States. That’s enough to fill Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and Florida Field to the brim! And you thought it was crowded with 93,000 fans on Saturday afternoon.

In keeping with the holiday spirit and being mindful of the University of Florida’s commitment to sustainability, we want to encourage every College, Center, Unit, Department and individual involved with the University to consider delivering their holiday greetings this season via email.

At www.identity.ufl.edu you will find numerous layouts for holiday e-cards in easy-to-download formats (sample attached). If you see a design you like, save a copy. If you want to write your own greeting, there are versions without verbiage so you can add your own. And of course, you can create your own original design if you prefer.
