Sloan Career Flexibility Awards

Angel Kwolek-Folland, Acting Associate Provost for Faculty Development

The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has agreed to an extension of our Faculty Career Flexibility Award through June 30, 2009. This enables the Provost’s Office to support departments that need assistance with replacement costs for faculty who are on family leave.

If you have a faculty member on family leave this semester and need funding to assist with replacement costs, please send an email request including the faculty member’s name and the amount needed. We will honor as many requests as we can. Please address your request to Angel Kwolek-Folland, Acting Associate Provost for Faculty Development at akf@aa.ufl.edu.

Because the award only runs through June 30th, we will not be able to help with additional funding for leaves that begin after that date.
