Fall Residence Hall Opening for 2010 and 2011

I am providing you with the fall residence hall opening dates for your planning purposes for 2010 and 2011. These dates supersede any previously published dates.

Fall 2010:

Residence Hall Opening will be at 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. First year students will be encouraged to check in during Wednesday and Thursday in order to arrive for Friday’s UF Convocation. Returning students will be encouraged to check in Friday, August 20 – Sunday, August 22, 2010. The first day of fall classes will be Monday, August 23, 2010.

Fall 2011:

Residence Hall Opening will be at 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. First year students will be encouraged to check in during Wednesday and Thursday in order to arrive for Friday’s UF Convocation. Returning students will be encouraged to check in Friday, August 19 – Sunday, August 21, 2011. The first day of fall classes will be Monday, August 22, 2011.

We will continue to identify the fall residence hall opening dates in advance as the academic calendar is made available for future years.
