University of Florida Ombuds Position

This is to announce an internal search to fill the position of Ombuds for all University of Florida (UF) students.  This TEAMS position reports directly to the Provost and is available July 1, 2010, but the start date is negotiable.

Nominations from the university community are encouraged. These should be addressed to Ombuds Search Committee Chair and sent to undergraduateaffairs@aa.ufl.edu, preferably by March 30, 2010. For further information, please contact a member of the search committee.

All applications should be submitted online at the Human Resources website https://jobs.ufl.edu/, under requisition number 0804402 by April 12.  In addition to completing the application form, applications should include: a cover letter explaining the candidate’s interest, experience, and suitability for the position; curriculum vita; and the names and contact information for at least three references.
