University of Florida Social Media Use Guidelines and Policy Implications

Paula Varnes Fussell, Vice President for Human Resource Services

Over the past year, a university-wide committee, with input from multiple university constituencies, has developed a document which provides guidelines and policy implications regarding the use of social media as an employee, appointee, or student of the University of Florida, or as a user of University of Florida computing resources. This document is now available online at http://hr.ufl.edu/emp_relations/policy/social_media.asp.

We encourage you to review the information in this document and hope you find it helpful. If you have questions, please contact the University Privacy Office at (352) 273-1212 or privacy@ufl.edu.
