An Office of Faculty Development and Teaching Excellence has been established and began operation January 1, 2015.  The responsibilities of this office encompass all aspects of Teaching and Learning across any and all platforms and includes faculty development.  Maintaining and expanding the Online Faculty and Teaching Assistant Institutes will be included in the Office’s portfolio as well as evaluations, assessments, and quality assurance.  It is expected that the Office will be proactive and will assume a leadership role in the search for excellence in Teaching and Learning.
