UF Faculty Fulbright Awardees

Attached to this memo is list a of University of Florida faculty who have received Fulbright awards during their student and academic careers. Faculty are listed alphabetically followed by their department affiliation country or countries of participation, and the corresponding dates of the award. Note that a few faculty members have listed “USA” as the host country of award. These are faculty who have immigrated to the US subsequent to their Fulbright award.

I hope that this information is helpful to you in identifying outstanding faculty with international experience. I am certain that they would be willing to act as informal advisors to colleagues in your department who seek information about Fulbright opportunities in the future.

For your information, we are holding Fulbright award orientation sessions on March 31 and April 1 in Room 282 JWRU from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A third session at the same hours will be held at the College of Education in Room 158 Norman Hall on Friday, April 3. A short video on the Fulbright program will be presented and questions about the Fulbright program will be addressed by former Fulbrighters. Students interested in the Fulbright program are encouraged to attend as well.
