I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Chimay Anumba as Dean of the College of Design, Construction and Planning effective August 1, 2016. Dr. Anumba received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds (UK), his D.Sc. from Loughborough University (UK) for outstanding and sustained original contributions to Construction Engineering and Informatics, and his B.Sc. from the University of Jos (Nigeria).  His research interests are in the fields of construction engineering and management, advanced engineering informatics, collaborative approaches to project delivery, knowledge management, integrated systems, and distributed communications.

Currently, Dr. Anumba serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. He has served as head of the department for the past eight years.  Prior to Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Anumba served as Director, Centre for Innovative and Collaborative Engineering and Director of Research in the Department of Civil and Building Engineering at Loughborough University.
