Director of Contracts and Grants

Dr. David P. Norton, Vice President for Research

After eight years of service at the University of Florida, Mr. Brad Staats, Assistant Vice President and Director of Contracts & Grants, is announcing his retirement effective in September of this year. He will serve as Assistant VP and Special Advisor to the Vice President for Research for the balance of his stay here at UF. Please join me in thanking Mr. Staats for his leadership and service here at UF. We are most grateful for his many contributions.

Effective February 3, 2017, Ms. Tiffany Schmidt, currently the Associate Director of Contracts & Grants, will assume the role of Interim Director. The university is most appreciative of her willingness to serve the university in this leadership capacity.
