Lyn White, coordinator of Business Services Division’s ID Card Office, will be leaving the University of Florida at the end of June. She will become the first executive director of the National Association of Campus Card Users (NACCU), a position she accepted in early May.

White has spent more than 17 years at the University of Florida. She came to the University in 1980, and worked in Information Systems and the Registrar’s Office. After joining ID Card Services in 1989, she worked with various departments of the university to implement the Gator 1 Card system on campus. She will carry her knowledge and experience with her as she moves to North Carolina and begins her new job.

As executive director of NACCU, White will work to maintain and expand its current membership of over 227 colleges in the United States, Canada and Australia. She will be implementing a series of four workshops per year and producing NACCU’s annual conference.

As she prepares to take her new position with NACCU, White wishes UF and BSD success in continuing the Gator 1 Card program, and BSD management and staff wish her success in her new endeavor.

There will be a farewell gathering for Lyn White at the ID Card Office Friday, June 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
