Revised Rate for Electricity

Physical Plant Division announced the electrical utility rate for the current fiscal year based on a fuel adjustment increase from Florida Power effective with the April 1st billing. This increase has been rescinded and a credit of $157,018.48 was issued to Physical Plant Division on the July invoice. We will credit this refund to our customers based on actual consumption for April, May and June. You will see this on your August invoice (received in September).

We have recalculated the fiscal year electrcity rate. The new rate (used for July billing) will be $0.619 per kwh. The remaining rates will remain the same. We at Physical Plant Division are making every effort to pass cost savings on to you, our customers, as they materialize.
