Training Sessions on Changes to the Letter of Appointment File and the Payment of Tuition Waivers

The university has made changes to the tuition waiver payment process to help you manage your resources in a more user friendly manner beginning with the fall semester. These changes will require the employer of a graduate assistant or the grantor of a fellowship to identify the source(s) of fund(s) for the waiver and the amount to be charged to each source prior to the waiver being processed. This will be accomplished via the Letter of Appointment file, which has been updated for this purpose.

Training sessions will be offered to assist you in learning the new processes and to help you complete security forms that will be needed to gain access to the waiver payment part of the system. Authority codes will be used to identify the users that will be permitted to fund waivers for the departments/colleges.
